AB Energia Wins 15 MWp Solar EPC Contract in Uttar Pradesh

Avener Capital has given AB Energia, a company that builds renewable energy infrastructure, a 15 megawatt-peak (MWp) solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) order in Uttar Pradesh. AB Energia will design, build, and start up a large solar power project in the Mahoba district as part of the contract.

Project Overview

The solar plant will have a total capacity of 15 MWp and will be connected to the grid once completed. AB Energia’s responsibilities include:

  • Engineering design of the solar installation
  • Procurement of equipment and materials
  • Construction and commissioning of the facility

The project is part of a bigger plan to boost clean energy production in Uttar Pradesh and help India reach its renewable energy goals.

Strengthening Solar Footprint in India

AB Energia is getting more involved in the Indian solar market with this contract. It also adds to its growing list of utility-scale solar projects. The company focuses on providing high-quality, affordable EPC solutions that are tailored to the needs of clients and the conditions in the area.

“This contract demonstrates the trust that leading investors like Avener Capital place in our execution capabilities and technical expertise,” said Ankit Sharma, Spokesperson, AB Energia. “We are committed to executing this project safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.”

About Avener Capital

Avener Capital is a private investment platform that focuses on investing in clean energy assets in markets all over the world. The company has been working hard to help India develop renewable energy sources so that it can meet its growing power needs in a way that doesn’t harm the environment.

“We are pleased to partner with AB Energia for this project in Uttar Pradesh,” said Rohan Mehta, Representative, Avener Capital. “Their strong execution track record and deep understanding of solar project delivery make them a valuable partner for advancing our shared clean energy objectives.”

Project Significance

The Mahoba solar project should help the state get more renewable energy while making it less dependent on traditional energy sources. Some of the main benefits of the project are:

  • Supporting Uttar Pradesh’s clean energy goals
  • Providing environmentally friendly electricity generation
  • Boosting local economic activity through project development

The fact that AB Energia won this EPC contract shows that investors and developers are becoming more confident in India’s solar market. The business plans to keep looking for similar utility-scale solar projects all over the country.

This project not only helps Uttar Pradesh reach its renewable energy goals, but it also fits with India’s larger plan to increase the amount of clean energy it produces and cut down on carbon emissions.
