ACME Solar Holdings Ltd announced the commissioning of an additional 16 MW of its 100 MW wind power project located in Titoda village, Sayla taluka, Surendranagar district, Gujarat, taking the total operational capacity at the site to 44 MW out of the planned 100 MW.
This milestone follows the first phase commissioning of 28 MW in October 2025, progressively advancing the project towards its full capacity. The commissioning was witnessed and verified by officials from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and the Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (PGVCL), with the formal commissioning certificate expected shortly.
The project has recently been granted an extension to its Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) by the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC), with the revised SCOD set for March 5, 2026. The early commissioning of part capacity reflects ACME Solar’s strategic approach to expedite project readiness and power generation.
Financed through the Power Finance Corporation (PFC), the electricity generated from the project will be sold under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed between ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd.
With this addition, ACME Solar Holdings’ total operational capacity has reached 2,934 MW, complemented by an under-construction capacity of 4,456 MW, which includes 13.5 GWh of BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) installations. The company continues to strengthen its position as a leading integrated renewable energy player with a diversified portfolio spanning solar, wind, storage, FDRE, and hybrid solutions.
