ACME Solar Holdings Limited has taken a significant step forward in the renewable energy sector by signing a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tata Power Company Limited for its 50 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project.
The agreement, finalized following the Letter of Award received in September 2025, is signed at a tariff of ₹4.43 per unit with a minimum annual Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) of 40% and includes a commitment to supply four hours of peak-hour power with 90% monthly availability.
This innovative project integrates multiple renewable energy technologies, combining solar power with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to ensure consistent and reliable green energy delivery as per the PPA obligations.
With this milestone, ACME Solar has now signed PPAs for a cumulative capacity of 600 MW along with 550 MWh of standalone BESS projects in the current financial year, reinforcing its leadership position in India’s renewable energy and energy storage segments.
ACME Solar Holdings is a leading integrated renewable energy player with a diversified portfolio spanning solar, wind, storage, FDRE, and hybrid solutions, currently operating an installed capacity of 2,890 MW.
