On Thursday, 26 June 2025, Acme Solar Holdings AHB, +1.64 percent, was declared the winner of the NHPC tender in Andhra Pradesh, by virtue of which the company will be required to develop and operate a battery storage capacity of 275 megawatts (MW), as per an exchange filing.

As per the filing data, the company won the deal for the Kuppam project with a fixed tariff of 210,000/MW at a monthly rate. The project capacity is 50 MW, and by winning the bid for the Ghani project, the fixed tariff is 222,000/MW with 225 MW capacity.
Under the project, the viability gap funding of 27 lakh per MWh or 30 percent of the total project cost, whichever is less, would also be given to the company.
