ACME’s 400 MW Solar Project Gains Momentum in Andhra Pradesh

ACME Group’s ambitious 400 MW solar project in Andhra Pradesh is making significant strides, with construction and development moving swiftly after receiving the necessary approvals. The project, which includes an integrated battery energy storage system (BESS), is part of the company’s broader strategy to provide reliable, round-the-clock renewable energy, contributing to India’s growing clean energy capacity and supporting grid stability in the region.

Project Scale and Strategic Importance

The 400 MW solar installation is designed to generate large-scale renewable electricity for Andhra Pradesh, while the battery storage system ensures consistent power supply even when solar generation fluctuates due to weather conditions. By combining solar power with storage capabilities, the project aims to deliver dispatchable green energy, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and supporting the state’s clean energy targets.

Officials from ACME Group have emphasized that the project is progressing according to schedule, with construction activities ramping up across multiple sites. The initiative demonstrates the company’s commitment to timely project execution, leveraging modern technology and strategic planning to meet both state and national renewable energy objectives.

Government Support and Regional Impact

The Andhra Pradesh government has extended strong support to facilitate the project, providing approvals and regulatory clearances to enable rapid execution. The project is expected to contribute to local employment, infrastructure development, and technological advancement, strengthening the state’s renewable energy ecosystem.

With commissioning targeted for 2026, the ACME 400 MW solar project will play a key role in advancing India’s renewable energy transition. By integrating solar power with battery energy storage, the project not only enhances grid reliability but also sets a benchmark for hybrid renewable energy initiatives in the country.

ACME Group’s continued focus on large-scale solar installations reflects its commitment to sustainable growth, economic development, and environmental stewardship. The successful progress of this Andhra Pradesh project highlights the potential for replicable renewable energy solutions that combine innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility, contributing to India’s ambitious climate and energy goals.

This project further strengthens ACME’s position as a leading renewable energy developer in India, driving clean energy adoption while supporting regional energy security and decarbonisation efforts.
