Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has announced on social media that Adani Total Gas Ltd is making major achievements in its growth initiatives, including the installation of 75,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations by 2030.

Adani emphasized the company’s emphasis on significant expansion in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG). Furthermore, through the Greenmosphere project, the corporation has planted 220,000 trees, resulting in an annual CO2 reduction of 3,000 tons.

Adani underlined the group’s operations vehicle fleet’s conversion from diesel to CNG, as well as the installation of rooftop solar panels at all 50 group facilities.

Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL) recently announced a collaboration with Kanpur Municipal Corporation (KMC) to develop e-mobility in Kanpur.

The Memorandum of Understanding between ATEL and the Municipal Corporation outlines ATEL’s responsibility to establish EV charging stations at 18 key locations in Kanpur.

This collaboration follows the Municipal Corporation’s association with Tata Power EV Charging Solutions, tasked with installing 12 electric vehicle charging stations at six strategic locations in Kanpur.
