    ADS-TEC Energy Expands Into Austria

The incorporation of ads-tec Energy Austria GmbH was announced today by ADS-TEC Energy, a world leader in battery-based energy storage and fast-charging solutions. In addition to growing its footprint in the DACH area (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), the company’s new location in Austria lays the groundwork for more extensive customer support services throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

In April 2025, ADS-TEC Energy set up its sales and service business in Austria as part of its global expansion plan. In addition to strengthening the company’s market position in the DACH area, the new location in Kötschach-Mauthen, Austria, lays the groundwork for more comprehensive local customer service.

Shortly after its founding, ADS-TEC Energy Austria was awarded its first order: a framework contract for three large battery storage systems, each with a 5 MWh capacity, with an Austrian utility provider. Alongside this, an order for an EV fast-charging system for the Austrian market was placed. Delivery of the first storage system is planned for the end of 2025 or the start of 2026.

“The establishment of our Austrian entity is a strategically important step to be closer to our customers to make our technologies directly available locally. The fact that we are already experiencing such strong customer confidence in the first few weeks demonstrates the high demand locally for high-performance storage and charging solutions,” highlights Thomas Speidel, CEO and founder of ADS-TEC Energy.

“With this new company, we are creating a presence near our customers in Austria and sending a clear signal for long-term partnership and reliability. We are bringing our highly scalable storage and fast-charging solutions directly to the market – optimized for the requirements of modern grid integration, balancing energy and load management,” notes Roland Klauss, CEO of ADS-TEC Energy Austria.

With quicker reaction times, local knowledge, and customized solutions for an increasingly decarbonized energy sector, the new company in Austria takes ADS-TEC Energy’s inventive strength straight to the market.

In the areas of intelligent system integration, quick charging infrastructure, and energy storage, ADS-TEC Energy provides all-inclusive solutions. Flexible business models, a high degree of technological proficiency, and a thorough comprehension of the industry are all advantageous to customers.
