Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (ARE&M) has announced the appointment of Narayan Choudhary as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO). In his new role, Choudhary will be responsible for leading the company’s manufacturing and operational strategy across all business verticals, with a focus on driving efficiency, excellence, and future-ready transformation. He will also serve as a member of the group’s executive committee.
Choudhary succeeds C. Narasimhulu Naidu, who is retiring after more than three decades of dedicated service at ARE&M. Naidu has played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s operations and manufacturing capabilities over his long tenure.
Extensive Experience in Large-Scale Transformation
With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Narayan Choudhary brings deep expertise in managing large-scale transformation initiatives across the automotive and industrial sectors. His experience spans greenfield project development, deployment of new technologies, supply chain system optimisation, quality and manufacturing frameworks, and people leadership.
Before joining Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, Choudhary served as Chief Executive Officer and Business Head at Taco Punch Powertrain, where he led strategic and operational initiatives focused on growth and efficiency.
