Amara Raja Group, a diversified conglomerate with revenues exceeding $2 billion, has appointed Dr Shilpa Kabra Maheshwari as its new Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Dr Maheshwari succeeds Jaikrishna B, who is retiring after more than two decades of leading the group’s HR function.
Dr Maheshwari brings nearly 30 years of HR leadership experience spanning manufacturing, automotive, energy, technology, hospitality, financial services, and shared services. She joins Amara Raja from Siemens, where she served as Executive Vice President and Country Head for People & Organisation, as well as Diversity Officer.
In her new role, Dr Maheshwari will spearhead the group’s HR function, focusing on strategic people initiatives, fostering innovation, and reinforcing Amara Raja’s values-driven culture.

Dr Maheshwari holds an Honours degree in Economics, an MBA, and a PhD in Leadership Development, and is also an author, certified coach, and trainer.
