BGR Tech Collabrah Secures Rs.53.5 Crore Landmark Project from OIL India

Oil India Forms 50:50 JV with RRVUNL, Transfers Renewables to Subsidiary

BGR Tech, in partnership with Collabrah India, a strategic JV, has been awarded a ₹53.5 crore contract by Oil India Limited (OIL) for the deployment of six Surface Production Facilities (SPFs).

The project will be executed over a period of three years across OIL India’s key operational zones in Assam. It also includes a Framework Agreement, enabling the provision for additional units as required.

This collaboration combines BGR Tech’s engineering expertise with Collabrah’s execution capabilities, supporting OIL India’s production expansion objectives in line with the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas’s vision.

BGR Tech is eyeing further business with ONGC and other exploration companies in the near future especially Mumbai High, the Cauvery basin, the KG Basin, Ahmedabad Assets and other assets in the Northeast region.

BGR Tech’s approach emphasizes resilience and reduced import dependency, fully supporting MNRE’s goal of homegrown energy solutions.

BGRTECH COLLABRAH PRIVATE LIMITED

It is a strategic joint venture between GEABGR Energy System India Limited, BGR Tech Pvt. Ltd., and Collabrah India Pvt. Ltd. The company delivers process equipment, EPC services, and specialized hiring solutions for the Oil & Gas, Power, Water, and other process industries. Its offerings include Gas Gathering Stations, Early/Quick Production Facilities, CO₂/H₂S removal, Gas Dehydration, Compression, and Production Equipment Rentals, along with O&M and Utility Services. The company also provides integrated surface and early production facilities such as wellhead manifolds, separation and processing units, oil stabilization, storage, compressor stations, utilities, flare systems, modular pipe racks, control and safety systems, MCC & electrical distribution, slug catchers, and transportation terminals. In addition, BGRTECH Collabrah supports production management services and is expanding into clean energy through EPC solutions for hydrogen production and allied services aligned with global net-zero goals.

BGR Tech Pvt. Ltd.,

It headquartered in Chennai, India, it brings over four decades of engineering expertise to the global energy sector. The company delivers a comprehensive suite of products and services across Oil & Gas upstream processing, modular heat exchangers, ultrapure water treatment, hydrogen solutions (generation, purification, and storage), and API-650 storage tanks. Its project capabilities span integrated surface and early production facilities, gas gathering and processing stations, and green hydrogen systems. With proven execution strength and innovative solutions, BGR Tech plays a pivotal role in enabling sustainable energy transitions while maintaining reliability and efficiency in process industries.

GEA BGR Energy System India Limited

It is a renowned provider of advanced industrial solutions with specialization in condensers, heat exchangers, and industrial control valves. Originating as a joint venture with GEA Energietechnik GmbH, the company combines German innovation with Indian engineering expertise to deliver robust and efficient systems. Its product portfolio includes industrial control valves, debris filters, online tube cleaning systems for condensers, self-cleaning strainers, and Schmitz cleaning balls—engineered to optimize thermal performance across power generation, desalination, oil & gas, district cooling, industrial water management, and steel manufacturing. GEA BGR further strengthens its offering through strong after-sales services, including preventive maintenance, repairs, spare parts support, and service contracts, ensuring long-term operational excellence for its clients.
