Borouge, a top provider of polymer solutions, and KEI Industries Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to look into the possibility of working together in India’s power transmission and distribution sector. Mr. Roland Janssen, CEO of Borouge, and Mr. Anil Gupta, Managing Director of KEI Industries, signed the deal.
The goal of the partnership is to improve the quality and dependability of India’s power grid infrastructure while also helping the country grow its renewable energy sources.
Collaboration Details
Under the MoU:
- Borouge will supply its innovative cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) manufactured in the UAE.
- KEI Wires and Cables, a leading cable manufacturer in India, will use this XLPE in high-quality power cable production.
- Both companies will work together to support the development of durable, efficient, and sustainable power transmission solutions.
This partnership brings together Borouge’s knowledge of new materials and KEI Industries’ ability to make things to create strong energy infrastructure solutions.
