Best Power Equipments India Pvt Ltd (BPE), a provider of power, energy storage and critical infrastructure solutions, has announced the appointment of A. Prabhu as Executive Director – Technical (Global Operations). The appointment marks a strategic move to strengthen the company’s global technical leadership as it accelerates its transition towards integrated energy storage and energy management solutions.
In his new role, Prabhu will be responsible for global technical operations and strategy, with a focus on engineering excellence, project execution and sustainability-driven innovation. His leadership is expected to align BPE’s technology roadmap with global energy transition trends, evolving customer requirements and environmental priorities, supporting the company’s evolution from a power products provider to a full-spectrum energy storage and management solutions organisation.

Prabhu brings over 25 years of experience across the telecom, data centre and energy sectors. He has played a key role in building high-availability, mission-critical infrastructure across multiple markets and has held senior leadership positions at Bharti Airtel, Airtel International LLP (Africa operations), Nxtra Data, Telenor and Aircel, where he led large-scale technology modernisation and energy efficiency initiatives.
