Consolidated Asset Management Services (CAMS), a fully integrated asset management and operations & maintenance company serving owners of energy assets and related infrastructure, has been selected by Nexus Renewable Power LLC (Nexus) to deliver multiple services for the “Goody” solar and storage project located in Lamar County, Texas.
Project Overview
The Goody project comprises a 171.72 MWac solar generation facility combined with 237 MWh of battery energy storage. The project is backed by approximately $220 million in project financing. Designed as a hybrid renewable energy installation, the facility integrates large-scale solar generation with battery storage to enhance grid reliability and supply renewable electricity to communities across Texas.
Scope of Services
Under the agreement, CAMS will provide comprehensive asset management, operations and maintenance, regulatory compliance oversight, and remote operations support. These services will be delivered through its CIP certified Remote Operations Center, covering the project from commissioning through long-term operations.
CAMS’ integrated service platform is intended to ensure safe and efficient performance while optimising the asset’s operational lifecycle.

Project Dedication
Project Goody is named in honor of Michael R. “Goody” Goodboe, who died on November 24, 2020, from injuries sustained while serving his country overseas. A highly decorated Navy SEAL, he served with distinction in multiple theatres including Iraq, Afghanistan, Eastern Europe and Africa. He is remembered for his warrior spirit, sense of humor and high standards for himself and his comrades.
The project reflects a continued commitment to strengthening energy infrastructure while honoring a legacy of service and dedication.
