Datta Power Infra Private Limited (Datta Infra) has announced the appointment of Veerender Kumar as Head of the Project Management Office (PMO). With over 20 years of experience in solar EPC, transmission, and infrastructure development, Veerender joins the company as Datta Infra accelerates its growth in the renewable energy sector across India.
Veerender has earned the reputation over the years of being able to transform complex project pipelines into engineered highly precise delivery pipelines. At Datta Infra, he will work on ensuring that his major work is developing scalable planning systems and strengthening performance management among all project activities.
Reflecting on the strategic hire, Varchasvi Gagal, Managing Director and CEO of Datta Infra, shared: “In infrastructure, scale means nothing without control. Veerender was previously working as GM PMO in Avaada energy with the role of scheduling and delivery governance of high capacity solar projects. He had spent 15 years at a company named Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy whereby he had been an Engineer and then a Deputy GM-PMO whereby he had led the key India projects.
A diploma holder in Electrical Engineering, Veerender is credited with an analytical understanding concerning implementation, manufacturer ecosystem and data-based performance models.
