Desay Battery Introduces Proactive Safety in Smart Energy Storage

Desay Battery, a top supplier of all-inclusive energy storage solutions worldwide, launched mass production in Changsha, China. UPS 2.0, a new generation of proactive safety battery cells and systems, and Data Center Energy Integration: Source-Grid-Load-Storage were all on display during the event. Desay’s goal of developing high-performance, safety-first technologies has reached a significant milestone with this solution, which is supported by a number of strategic cooperation agreements meant to hasten the change of the regional energy system.

Desay Battery’s renewed dedication to safety, which has always served as the cornerstone of company innovation and expansion, was at the center of the event. Leon Cheng, the president of the company, stressed that system architecture and product design place a high premium on safety. Through innovations in intelligent manufacturing, digitalization, and modularization, Desay improves battery performance while guaranteeing dependability and economy. Cheng emphasized that the company’s dedication to the global energy transition is based on providing long-lasting, safe, and high-quality solutions.

Desay Battery’s dedication to safety is demonstrated by its cutting-edge safety battery cells and system. These state-of-the-art cells provide remarkable resilience to high temperatures and overcharging through the use of sophisticated smart manufacturing and strict quality control. Real-time health monitoring is made possible by proprietary pressure-sensing technology, and accurate lifespan forecasts and quick risk alerts are provided by AI-driven predictive modeling. Furthermore, material-informed designs increase durability and energy efficiency, showcasing Desay’s commitment to proactive safety by utilizing both active and intrinsic protective systems.

UPS 2.0, which uses high-discharge 8C-rate battery cells and offers emergency backup of up to 300 KVA for ten minutes, was also presented. With the Source-Grid-Load-Storage Solution, data centers may save up to 79% on peak power expenditures thanks to its competitive LCOE of RMB 0.25/kWh.

Zhongguancun New-Battery Technology-Innovation-Alliance Secretary-General Yu Qingjiao praised Desay Battery’s new products for tackling important safety issues and setting standards for lifetime protection and integration. According to him, the release serves as an industry model that supports national aims for improving technical performance and safety.
