DESCO Infratech, KPI Green Hydrogen, and Naveriya Gas Partner for Hydrogen-Natural Gas Blending Projects

On October 16, 2025, DESCO Infratech Limited declared that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Private Limited and Naveriya Gas Pvt. Ltd. and planned to engage them in hydrogen-natural gas blending projects and associated infrastructural development.

This collaboration is expected to explore and realize the integration of green hydrogen and natural gas, which will be a significant milestone in the clean energy transition and decarbonization of India.

As per the agreement:

  • KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Private Limited will manage project investments and financial obligations such as the production of the renewable energy as well as green hydrogen facilities.
  • DESCO Infratech will be the technology partner that will grow its knowledge in the field of hydrogen generation, compression, blending, and delivery systems.
  • Naveriya Gas Pvt. Ltd. will come with the experience of city gas distribution and natural gas pipeline infrastructure.

Besides blending efforts, the partners will also consider the possibility of establishing hydrogen compressor stations to facilitate the infrastructure of vehicular fuel stations along the national highways.

Such a partnership makes DESCO Infratech a major player in the emerging green hydrogen ecosystem in India and emphasizes its desire to develop technologies in the sphere of sustainable energy.
