    Emerson and Zitara Join Forces to Advance Battery Management Solutions

    Emerson (NYSE: EMR), a leading industrial technology company, has partnered with Zitara Technologies, a specialist in advanced battery management software, to enhance Emerson’s Ovation™ automation platform. This strategic collaboration will integrate Zitara’s innovative software into Ovation™, providing customers with improved battery performance and monitoring solutions. The partnership aims to optimize automation capabilities, ensuring more efficient and reliable energy management for industrial applications.

    By incorporating Zitara’s advanced battery energy storage systems edge monitoring and control software into its Ovation automation platform, Emerson can now offer customers enhanced energy storage management, optimized battery usage, and improved battery lifetime and safety across various applications.

    “Zitara’s innovative approach to battery management aligns perfectly with our vision for Emerson’s Ovation automation platform,” stated Bob Yeager, president of Emerson’s power and water business. “By partnering with Zitara, we are expanding our energy storage technology offerings and service capabilities, ensuring that our customers have access to the latest advancements in battery storage management for accurate state of charge and health conditions, energy and power availability forecasting and predictive safety.”

    Emerson’s Ovation software and technologies help utilities meet the increasing demand for reliable, affordable, and sustainable power and water. The next-generation platform helps power operators and owners with a complex portfolio of distributed energy resources use real-time data to improve load and demand management. The integration of Zitara’s software will further enhance these capabilities by providing advanced battery monitoring and controls solutions that support the growing demand for reliable energy storage solutions.
