Fox ESS, a company that sells renewable energy solutions all over the world, has announced that it is expanding its energy storage options in Australia by adding the H3 PRO Hybrid Inverter. The new inverter is fully compatible with the EQ4800, CQ6 and EP series, strengthening the company’s position in Australia’s fast-growing flexible energy storage market.
According to Renew Economy, Australia’s electricity grids are undergoing a storage-led transition. There are more and more large-scale batteries, and they are taking over the role that gas peakers used to play. The National Electricity Market’s data shows that the second half of 2025 was a big turning point. At that point, renewables made up about 50% of total generation, and batteries outperformed gas peaking plants.
These market shifts highlight the need for advanced and scalable energy storage solutions.
Product Overview
The H3 PRO is a three-phase hybrid inverter available in models from 15 kW to 30 kW. It supports dual independent battery inputs, allowing users to customise storage setups. The system can handle storage capacities ranging from 23.96 kWh to 144 kWh by combining two CQ6 battery stacks of 12 modules each. This makes it suitable for larger commercial installations as well as residential use.
