GAIL issues EPC tender for 17.5 MW floating solar plant in Uttar Pradesh, with bids due by August 19, 2025.

GAIL (India) Limited has officially issued an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) tender for the development of a 17.5 MW (AC) grid-connected floating solar photovoltaic (PV) plant at its facility in Pata, Auraiya district, Uttar Pradesh.

The project scope includes complete EPC services—covering design, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning—along with the establishment of the power evacuation system for grid connectivity.

In addition, the contracted firm will provide extensive operation and maintenance of the floating PV plant for three years and perform annual maintenance of critical equipment for a period of 10 years. Bidders must submit their proposals by August 19, 2025.

Prior to this GAIL in October 2024 announced a tender seeking its bids to 7.75 MW grid connected floating solar plant in Vijaipur, India.
