Gautam Solar Ranks Among Top 30 Global Solar Module Manufacturers with ‘Grade A’ Classification

Gautam Solar has achieved a significant milestone by being ranked among the Top 30 global solar module manufacturers in Wood Mackenzie’s Solar Module Ranking Report 2025. The company has also been awarded the highly coveted ‘Grade A’ classification, the highest form of benchmarking for operational excellence, reliability, and bankability. This recognition places Gautam Solar alongside leading global solar manufacturing companies, including major Chinese players, and firmly establishes its presence on the global solar map.

Gautam Mohanka, Director of Gautam Solar, said:

“Being ranked among the Top 30 global solar module manufacturers and receiving the prestigious ‘Grade A’ classification is a moment of immense pride for all of us at Gautam Solar. This recognition validates our relentless focus on quality, technology, and reliability, and demonstrates that an Indian manufacturer can compete with the world’s largest solar companies. It also motivates us to further strengthen our manufacturing capabilities, scale innovation, and contribute meaningfully to India’s and the world’s clean energy transition.”

The ‘Grade A’ classification is awarded only to manufacturers that meet stringent criteria across product performance, financial health, operational scale, track record, and supply chain reliability. It signifies that Gautam Solar’s modules are considered highly bankable for large-scale utility, commercial, and institutional projects.

Over the years, Gautam Solar has strategically invested across its manufacturing value chain, developing advanced infrastructure, implementing rigorous quality control systems, and adopting high-efficiency technologies. As part of its long-term growth strategy, the company is set to commission a solar cell manufacturing facility in 2026, further enhancing its capacity to deliver high-performance solar modules across diverse geographies and project conditions.

This global recognition reinforces Gautam Solar’s reputation as a trusted, bankable, and future-ready solar manufacturing partner. With India emerging as a key hub for solar manufacturing, the achievement marks not only a milestone for Gautam Solar but also underscores the growing prominence of Indian manufacturers in the international renewable energy value chain.
