GoodWe has achieved JET certification in Japan for its EI Series single-phase residential hybrid energy storage systems.

GoodWe has obtained JET certification (Japan Electrical Safety and Environment Technology Laboratory) in Japan for its single-phase residential hybrid energy storage system. The certified systems, GW5500-EI-F9.6P and GW5500-EI-F12.8P, comprise the GoodWe EI hybrid inverter (5.5 kW) paired with the Lynx Home F battery in 9.6 kWh and 12.8 kWh capacities, respectively.

JET certification is considered one of the highest standards for electrical safety in Japan, involving rigorous evaluation of product safety and environmental friendliness. GoodWe’s successful certification marks a significant milestone in its expansion within the Japanese market, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in meeting the local demand for products that prioritize safety, compliance, and long-term reliability.

The EI Series is a single-phase hybrid inverter built specifically for the Japanese market, designed to promote greater self-consumption of solar energy in residential settings. Its 4-MPPT architecture enables optimal energy capture on rooftops with varying orientations and complex layouts, significantly enhancing overall system efficiency. With plug-and-play functionality and a compact, lightweight design, the EI Series ensures faster, more flexible, and hassle-free installation.

When paired with Lynx Home F Series batteries (9.6/12.8 kWh) and a dedicated communication device, the system delivers optimized energy usage, intelligent energy management, and reliable backup power—empowering households to achieve higher levels of energy independence and resilience.

Since its official entry into the Japanese market in 2020, GoodWe has been committed to becoming the most tailored solution provider for local energy needs. Through a strategic emphasis on product localization and the continuous enhancement of its after-sales support network, GoodWe consistently provides safe, intelligent, and energy-efficient solutions for both residential and commercial applications
