Greenzo Energy India Limited and Lord's Mark Industries Limited Sign MoU for Green Hydrogen Projects in Uttar Pradesh

Greenzo Energy India Limited and Lord’s Mark Industries Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop green hydrogen and renewable energy projects across Uttar Pradesh.

Under the agreement, the companies plan to develop around 60 MW of green hydrogen capacity. The projects will also include integrated solar rooftop systems combined with battery energy storage solutions. These installations will be developed across major locations including Gorakhpur, Aligarh, Jhansi, and Lucknow.

Defined Roles Under the Partnership

As per the MoU, Greenzo Energy will act as the technology and EPC partner. The company will handle engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the projects.

Lord’s Mark Industries will serve as the project developer and investor. Its responsibilities will include arranging financing, obtaining regulatory approvals, managing project development activities, and structuring commercial agreements.

Builds on Uttar Pradesh Renewable Plans

This collaboration follows Lord’s Mark Industries’ earlier MoU with the Government of Uttar Pradesh for renewable energy development, which involves a proposed investment of more than ₹2,000 crore. The new partnership is expected to strengthen green hydrogen infrastructure in the state and support industrial decarbonisation efforts.

Commenting on the agreement, Mr. Sandeep Agarwal, Managing Director, Greenzo Energy India Limited, said, “This collaboration represents an important step in accelerating the deployment of green hydrogen infrastructure at scale. By combining our indigenous hydrogen technology and EPC expertise with Lord’s Mark’s strong project development capabilities, we aim to support Uttar Pradesh’s renewable energy vision and contribute meaningfully to India’s clean energy and decarbonisation objectives.”

Mr. Sachidanand Upadhyay, Managing Director, Lord’s Mark Industries Limited, added, “Our partnership with Greenzo Energy brings together strong development expertise and proven hydrogen technology capabilities. This collaboration aligns with Uttar Pradesh’s renewable energy roadmap and will help execute large-scale, sustainable green hydrogen projects delivering long-term economic and environmental benefits.”

Five-Year Framework

The MoU will remain valid for five years and establishes a structured framework for joint participation in upcoming green hydrogen and renewable energy opportunities in Uttar Pradesh.

The partnership further strengthens Greenzo Energy’s position in delivering scalable and commercially viable hydrogen solutions while enhancing Uttar Pradesh’s role as an emerging clean energy investment hub.
