Jinko ESS Hosts Energy Storage Summit in Morocco, Signs Strategic MoUs

Jinko ESS successfully hosted the Jinko ESS Summit on December 18 in Casablanca, Morocco, marking an important milestone in supporting the country’s growing renewable energy and energy storage ecosystem. The event brought together key industry stakeholders, energy professionals, and partners to exchange insights on the critical role of battery energy storage systems in enabling a resilient and sustainable energy future for Morocco.

The summit agenda featured a series of presentations led by Jinko ESS experts, focusing on energy storage innovation, system performance, and deployment opportunities in the region. The event opened with a welcome address by Asif SW and Ouafae Khribech, who outlined Jinko ESS’s vision for advancing energy storage adoption and strengthening the integration of renewable energy within Morocco’s evolving power landscape. They highlighted the importance of collaboration, technology, and scalable solutions in supporting the country’s clean energy ambitions.

Following the opening session, in-depth technical presentations were delivered by Titus Koech, Hao Yang, and Abdallah Nzby. During these sessions, Jinko ESS showcased its latest energy storage solutions designed to address a wide range of utility-scale and commercial applications. The company introduced its new utility-scale energy storage system, Suntera G3, with a capacity of 6.25 MWh, highlighting its performance, scalability, and suitability for large-scale grid applications. In addition, Jinko ESS presented its commercial and industrial energy storage offerings, including the SunGiga G2 with 261 kWh capacity and the SunGiga G2 Plus with 522 kWh capacity. The presentations demonstrated how these systems can support diverse use cases and contribute to grid stability and energy efficiency.

One of the key highlights of the summit was the signing of two strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with local partners Jet Energy and Energy Handle. These agreements reinforce Jinko ESS’s commitment to building strong local partnerships and accelerating the deployment of advanced energy storage solutions across Morocco.

The Jinko ESS Summit Morocco underscored the company’s dedication to advancing energy storage adoption, fostering industry collaboration, and supporting Morocco’s transition toward a more sustainable and resilient energy system through innovative and scalable energy storage technologies.
