Jinko ESS, a leading energy storage company and subsidiary of Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., announced it has signed a contract to deploy a 25MWh energy storage project in the MEA region. The project will use the company’s utility-scale solution, the SunTera G2 5MWh Energy Storage System, to deliver essential grid support and strengthen the region’s power infrastructure with a more resilient and sustainable approach.
In a region where energy security is critical, the project highlights Jinko ESS’s commitment to providing advanced technology that addresses real-world needs and supports the global shift toward clean energy. The selection of the SunTera G2 was based on its high performance, strong safety profile, and efficient deployment. Its containerized design reduces installation time and costs—an important advantage for projects in challenging environments.
“We are proud to be selected for this landmark project in the region, which represents a significant step forward for the country’s energy infrastructure,” said Asif SW, Head of Sales at Jinko ESS MEA region. “Our SunTera G2 system is engineered for reliability and efficiency in demanding conditions.
