KPI Green Wins ₹696.5 Cr SJVN Contract for 200 MW Khavda Solar Project

KPI Green Energy Ltd has signed an agreement with SJVN Ltd, a state-owned power generation company, to provide a 200 MW (AC) solar power facility at the GIPCL Renewable Energy Park, Khavda, in Gujarat.

The deal is ₹696.50 crore, a significant development in the expansion of KPI Green utility-scale renewable energy projects.

The company will be involved in the supply of all the plant and equipment, carrying out of the erection and construction work, handling and insuring of equipment, and testing and commissioning as part of the contract.

KPI Green shall also be in charge of total Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services three years after COD, which shall involve spares and consumables.

The project structure has three different contracts, which are supply, EPC, and O&M.

This project brings KPI Green to over 845 MWp (DC) of presence in Khavda; the company report on the exchange filing confirms the company as a key player in the provision of EPC services in one of the most vital renewable energy centers in India.

Commenting on the development, Dr. Faruk G. Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, stated, “We are delighted to execute the contract with SJVN for the 200 MW project at Khavda. Securing and now formally entering into this agreement with a leading Government of India enterprise underscores KPI Green’s credibility and proven ability to deliver large-scale renewable energy projects. We are fully committed to delivering the project within the stipulated timelines and to the high-quality standards that define our approach.”
