KPI Green Energy Ltd has signed an agreement with SJVN Ltd, a state-owned power generation company, to provide a 200 MW (AC) solar power facility at the GIPCL Renewable Energy Park, Khavda, in Gujarat.
The deal is ₹696.50 crore, a significant development in the expansion of KPI Green utility-scale renewable energy projects.
The company will be involved in the supply of all the plant and equipment, carrying out of the erection and construction work, handling and insuring of equipment, and testing and commissioning as part of the contract.
KPI Green shall also be in charge of total Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services three years after COD, which shall involve spares and consumables.
The project structure has three different contracts, which are supply, EPC, and O&M.
This project brings KPI Green to over 845 MWp (DC) of presence in Khavda; the company report on the exchange filing confirms the company as a key player in the provision of EPC services in one of the most vital renewable energy centers in India.
