Luminous Power Technologies Unveils EDGE GO 1500: India’s First Portable Power Station

Luminous Power Technologies has created a new brand called EDGE, dedicated to smart, portable energy offerings to mobile and sustainability-oriented consumers in India.

The initial product of the new brand, the EDGE GO 1500, is the first portable power station with a built-in music system in India. Luminous is entering the portable energy station segment with this.

The EDGE GO 1500 provides 1,200W output, an accelerated 90-minute charger, and the capacity to charge over 90 devices at a time. It also includes an inbuilt 90W speaker, two wireless mics, a guitar connector, and a Bluetooth connection with portable power and entertainment.

Luminous says that the EDGE brand targets modern consumers in need of flexibility to use their devices remotely or outdoors and back up at home. The company claimed that the devices are solar prepared, flammable, IP34 splash resistant, and lithium-ion technology that is sustainable and durable.

“Consumers today expect energy solutions that are intelligent, portable, and environmentally responsible. With this launch, Luminous not only addresses those needs but also sets new standards for innovation and consumer-focused design in the energy solutions market,” said Preeti Bajaj, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Luminous Power Technologies at the launch event.

Neelima Burra, Chief Strategy, Transformation and Marketing Officer, and Business Head-Ecommerce and Organised Retail, Luminous Power Technologies, said, “We have observed a clear shift in how consumers want to interact with their power solutions-they seek not just reliability, but also seamless integration with their lifestyle and entertainment needs. EDGE stands for Your Energy, Your Vibe. This brand is for creators and explorers who want power on their term-without compromise. Launching exclusively on Amazon and Luminous eShop is a deliberate digital-first strategy that reflects this ethos. It allows us to meet our new-age consumers where they live, work and shop, creating a seamless and immersive brand experience from discovery to delivery. Our marketing is storytelling-led, focused on inspiring real user journeys that resonate well with this audience.”

Ganesh Moorthi, Chief Technology Officer, Luminous Power Technologies, said, “The EDGE GO portfolio is engineered with next-generation LiFePO₄ battery technology, available in three capacities, 1200 watts, 600 watts, and 300 watts, to match all the power needs, big or small, ensuring uninterrupted life, wherever one goes. The EDGE GO 1500, our flagship model, delivers 1200W of stable power and supports up to 12 devices simultaneously, while offering 3X longer life and 10X faster charging—making it one of the most efficient and durable portable power ranges in the market today. Every detail has been carefully designed for safety, performance, and seamless use across various scenarios, including work, travel, and leisure. This device is more than just power; it’s an experience-offering connectivity and entertainment on the go.”

Karthik Subbarayappa, Director, Kitchen, Sports, and Home Improvement, Amazon India, said, “We are excited to bring the Luminous EDGE GO series experience to Amazon customers. Our partnership with Luminous demonstrates Amazon India’s commitment to making cutting-edge technology accessible nationwide. With our delivery network covering 100 percent serviceable pincodes and robust fulfillment infrastructure, we are ensuring that customers from metro cities to the most remote locations can access this groundbreaking portable power solution that makes their lives better. Amazon’s seamless shopping experience, reliable delivery, and comprehensive customer support complement Luminous’s vision of empowering India’s mobile-first, digitally savvy consumers with next-generation energy solutions.”

The EDGE GO P-Series will come in four different versions:
