Maxvolt to Build Lithium Battery Recycling Plant in Aligarh

Maxvolt Energy has secured land in Aligarh, India, to set up a world-class lithium battery recycling plant.

One of the best battery technology and green energy solution providers, Maxvolt Energy, has achieved a milestone of a sustainable and self-sustainable energy system by receiving the land acquisition letter given by the Hon. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath ji, during the event of Uttar Pradesh-Udhyam Pradesh on International MSME Day. It was organized at Lok Bhawan Sabha Sagar, Lucknow, under the current promise made by the UP Government towards innovative development, enterprise, and industrial revival in the state.

Maxvolt Energy also purchased 23,524 square meters of land in the city of Aligarh in an attempt to develop a state-of-the-art lithium battery recycling and repurposing plant that will be on a world-class level. This new position of strategic location is located close to the current manufacturing plant of Maxvolt in Ghaziabad, which will facilitate the flow of the supply chain and coordination in the operational synergy between the two factories.

It is a project that complements the vision of Maxvolt in the future to limit India’s need for imported lithium raw material and to carry out closed-loop battery life-cycle management, as this would further raise energy independence and environmental protection.

“We are deeply honored to receive the land acquisition letter from Hon’ble CM Yogi ji. The support from the Uttar Pradesh government reinforces our commitment towards building a circular battery economy in tandem with the clean energy transition of India. This facility would not only approach environmental challenges of the greatest importance but also enhance local employment and foster innovation within the state.”

– Mr. Satendra Shukla, CEO of Maxvolt Energy.

“This project is a milestone for Maxvolt and for India’s green energy aspirations. With the encouragement of the Uttar Pradesh government, we are taking a significant step towards developing sustainable lithium battery solutions that are made, maintained, and renewed in India. We want to establish an ecosystem that supports the environment as well as the economy.”

– Mr. Vishal Gupta, Maxvolt Energy’s co-founder & CTO.
