National Capital Region Transport Corporation Ltd. (NCRTC) invites bids for a 110 MW solar PV project in Uttar Pradesh, aiming to boost India’s renewable energy and self-reliance goals.

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation Ltd. (NCRTC), a joint venture between the Government of India and participating states, has invited open electronic bids through an open competitive bidding process, following a single-stage, two-packet system, to select a solar power developer for a 110 MW (AC) grid-connected solar PV project in Uttar Pradesh under the captive mode. The selected developer will be required to complete the project within 18 months from the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

The bid security amount is ₹6.60 crore, which must remain valid until 20 April 2026 if submitted as a bank guarantee. It can be submitted in the form of a bank guarantee, demand draft, banker’s cheque, or fixed deposit receipt (FDR). Original bid securities must be physically delivered to the employer’s office by 3:00 PM on 25 September 2025, along with scanned copies uploaded as part of the online bid submission. Bids without the original physical bid security will be rejected.

Bid documents are available free of cost for download on the e-procurement portal from 11 August 2025 until 3:00 PM on 25 September 2025. The last date to seek clarifications is 29 August 2025, up to 5:00 PM; queries received after this date will not be considered. A pre-bid meeting will be held via video conferencing on 26 August 2025 at 11:00 AM. Interested bidders must request the meeting link at least two days prior.

The online bid submission window opens on 18 September 2025 at 3:00 PM and closes on 25 September 2025 at 3:00 PM. Technical bids will be opened on 26 September 2025 at 3:00 PM, while the date for opening financial bids will be communicated later to technically qualified bidders. Bids must remain valid for 180 days from the date of submission.

All bidding activities, including submission, clarifications, and issuance of corrigenda or addenda, will be conducted exclusively via the e-procurement portal; manual bids will not be accepted. Prospective bidders must be registered on the portal and hold a valid Class-III digital signature certificate.

NCRTC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning reasons, and no claims shall be entertained in case of rejection. The letter of acceptance for the successful bidder will be sent via registered post, courier, hand delivery, and email.

This tender offers a significant opportunity for solar developers to participate in a large-scale renewable energy project in Uttar Pradesh, supporting India’s goals for sustainable energy development and self-reliance in the power sector.
