    Neuron Energy Unveils Gen 2 EV Battery Packs for Indian Market

    Neuron Energy unveils Gen 2 lithium-ion battery packs for electric 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, and LCVs, launching in India by July 2025.

    Neuron Energy has fired the second-generation lithium-ion battery packs of electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and light commercial vehicles (LCVs). The Gen 2 series will be launched and available in the Indian market since July 2025.

    The company mentioned that new battery packs are designed to address the requirements of different categories of electric vehicles that are functioning in Indian conditions. Set with this product launch, Neuron Energy aims at earning an excess of 250 crore in revenue and expects to serve the EV makers, fleet operators, logistic firms, battery dealers, e-mobility firms, and governmental institutions.

    Focus on durability and compatibility

    The Gen 2 battery packs have new features that are intended to enhance the reliability of operations. The packs also have an updated structural design that is made compatible in films with more models of vehicles and to control heat dissipation with ease.

    Its main technical properties are reinforced pack architecture, which will enhance structural strength and integration on various platforms of vehicles; vibration improvement, which is characterized to provide better performance under conditions of high vibrations on Indian roads; and a smart battery management system (BMS) to contribute to the long life of batteries.
