NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL), a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, has commissioned a 212.5 MW solar power project in Gujarat. It is the fourth phase of the wider 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project, which is being constructed in the state.

NTPC REL also partially commissioned a hybrid renewable energy project that was built by Ayana Renewable in a regulatory filing. In particular, 52.8 MW of wind capacity in a 100 MW hybrid project (consisting of 92.4 MW of wind and 37.5 MW of solar generation) has been announced as commercially operational as of August 20, 2025. This project comes under CPSU Scheme Ph-II, Tr-III.

RCILB further saw the partial commissioning of Ayana Renewable Power’s hybrid project in Gujarat through its subsidiary company, Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited. This is in partnership with ONGC and NTPC Green. The total 52.8 MW wind in the current total capacity of 129.9 MW has been placed in service commercially as of August 21, 2025.

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) is a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, focusing exclusively on renewable energy development. With a growing pipeline of solar, wind, and hybrid projects across India, NTPC REL plays a pivotal role in advancing NTPC’s commitment to clean energy and sustainability.
