PIXON Expands Solar Module Capacity by 800 MW with Advanced TOPCon and HJT Technologies

PIXON, a prominent Indian manufacturer of solar modules and encapsulant films, is led by Founder and Managing Director Deven Marwadi, whose vision centers on innovation, sustainable growth, and establishing a strong global presence. Under his leadership, the company is enhancing operational efficiency, integrating digital technologies, and broadening its international footprint.

As part of its growth plans, PIXON has announced an 800 MW increase in production capacity with the launch of solar modules featuring advanced TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) and HJT (Heterojunction) technologies. The company utilizes fully automated, AI-driven production lines capable of scaling up to 3 GW for both solar modules and encapsulant films within a single facility. This expansion marks a crucial step in PIXON’s ability to provide cutting-edge photovoltaic products.

This additional capacity brings PIXON’s total manufacturing capability close to 2 GW, supporting its goal of becoming a key player in the global solar industry. The integration of these advanced technologies complements its existing offerings, which include PERC and N-Type (TOPCon, HJT) modules, reinforcing its dedication to delivering efficient, durable, and dependable solar products that meet the evolving needs of renewable energy markets.

General Manager Nikhil More highlighted, “Our expansion into N-Type technology underscores PIXON’s focus on leading solar innovation, backed by NABL-accredited laboratory support for TOPCon and HJT technologies. Strong collaborations with solar cell producers and OEMs further ensure sustained growth and stability. PIXON remains committed to providing high-performance solar solutions that contribute to global decarbonization efforts.”

As a vertically integrated manufacturer, PIXON maintains substantial control over its value chain, with ongoing plans for backward integration emphasizing sustainability and compliance with ESG standards. These efforts position the company as a progressive leader in the solar energy sector, actively advancing the clean energy transition worldwide.
