    World’s Top GreenTech Companies 2025

Princeton NuEnergy (PNE) has been named among the top 100 in TIME and Statista Inc.’s World’s Top GreenTech Companies 2025 and America’s Top GreenTech Companies 2025 lists. This recognition underscores PNE’s management in clean energy, environmental technology, and sustainability. The rankings, announced on March 25th, highlight companies driving innovation in the green technology sector and are available on TIME’s website.

PNE is honored to be named by TIME and Statista as a global and national leader in clean energy technology. As a pioneer in lithium-ion battery direct recycling and cathode manufacturing, the company continues to accelerate the development of a domestic circular battery supply chain and promote sustainable innovation.

This recognition affirms the company’s continued leadership and innovation in battery recycling and clean energy technology, following PNE’s inclusion on the 2024 America’s Top 100 GreenTech Companies list.

Statista evaluated companies based on three core criteria:

    • Positive environmental impact: Scored through performance data, product portfolio effectiveness, and leadership insights from HolonIQ.
    • Financial strength: Based on metrics such as revenue, workforce, and funding data.
    • Innovation drive: Measured via the Patent Asset Index by LexisNexis® Intellectual Property Solutions.

PNE has recently achieved two significant milestones:

    • New Jersey Pilot Facility Now Operational – PNE’s state-of-the-art Direct Recycling & Upcycling facility near Princeton, NJ.
    • South Carolina Commercial Facility Launch – Phase One of the company’s commercial-scale direct recycling plant in South Carolina is set to launch in Q2 2025. This initial phase will focus on the production of advanced black mass, supporting the domestic battery supply chain and reducing reliance on imported critical materials.

“This recognition is a reflection of our team’s hard work, deep innovation, and unwavering commitment to building a sustainable battery materials ecosystem, and secure domestic critical minerals to strengthen U.S. energy security,” stated Dr. Chao Yan, Co-Founder and CEO of Princeton NuEnergy. “We’re honored to be named alongside the world’s most impactful climate and energy leaders.”

As TIME and Statista continue to spotlight the world’s most promising green technologies, PNE remains committed to delivering transformative solutions at the intersection of sustainability, science, and scalable impact.
