Purvah Green Power Wins SECI LoA for 300 MW Solar Project with Energy Storage

SECI Finalises 4,800 MWh FDRE Auction Results

Purvah Green Power Pvt. Ltd. (Purvah), a subsidiary of CESC Ltd, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) dated October 27, 2025, from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the development of a 300 MW solar power project integrated with Energy Storage Systems (ESS).

The project has been awarded at a tariff rate of ₹2.86 per kWh and is expected to be executed over a 25-year period from the scheduled commencement date of power supply. The LoA has been duly acknowledged and accepted by Purvah.

This award follows Purvah’s successful participation in SECI’s Request for Selection (RfS) to establish 2,000 MW of interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar PV power projects, coupled with 1,000 MW/4,000 MWh of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) across India.

The development of this project marks a significant milestone in Purvah’s journey towards advancing renewable energy integration and supporting India’s clean energy transition.
