Quantum Energy Limited and EMO Energy have announced a strategic partnership to introduce a new electric scooter designed specifically for last‑mile delivery and fleet operations across India.
A Scooter Tailored for Commercial Delivery
The collaboration has resulted in the Quantum Bziness EMO, an electric scooter built by combining Quantum Energy’s vehicle engineering expertise with EMO Energy’s advanced liquid‑cooled battery technology. The scooter aims to meet the demanding needs of delivery fleets and other commercial users in India’s rapidly growing logistics sector.
Under the partnership, the scooter is equipped with EMO Energy’s 2 kWh ZenPac battery, which delivers a real‑world range of up to 80 km and supports a top speed of 50 kmph. The battery system also enables fast charging in around 20 minutes using EMO’s Swft fast charger, helping improve efficiency for high‑utilization mobility operations.
The Quantum Bziness EMO is powered by a 2,500 W peak hub motor, can carry a payload of up to 200 kg, and features 12‑inch wheels along with a combined braking system for stability and safety in urban and semi‑urban use. Quantum Energy supports customers through more than 100 service and sales touchpoints across India.
Leadership Voices on the Collaboration
EMO Energy Co‑founder and CEO Sheetanshu Tyagi highlighted the importance of integrated design for last‑mile use:
“Scaling last‑mile mobility in India requires vehicles and energy systems to be designed together for high utilisation and real‑world operating conditions. With Quantum Energy, we’ve combined a purpose‑built scooter with an energy platform engineered for scalability, predictable performance over years, and low total cost of ownership.”
Chakravarthi C, Managing Director of Quantum Energy Limited, added:
“Our collaboration with EMO Energy strengthens the fast‑charging ecosystem, enabling quicker turnaround times, higher vehicle uptime, and greater confidence for both commercial fleet operators and individual riders adopting electric two‑wheelers.”
Production and Deployment Plans
Quantum Energy has also begun operations at a new six‑acre greenfield manufacturing facility in Maheshwaram. The initial phase will bring 55,000 sq ft of operational space by March 2026 with a production capacity of 10,000 scooters per month, and later expand to 1,50,000 sq ft to reach 20,000 units per month by mid‑2027.
Through this partnership, EMO Energy and Quantum Energy aim to deploy 10,000 electric scooters across India over the next year, helping scale reliable and cost‑effective solutions for last‑mile delivery.
