Schneider Electric, a global energy technology company, has announced the appointment of Ms. Bhavna Verma as Vice President – Strategy and M&A. She succeeds Ms. Damini Chaudhari, who recently assumed the role of Vice President – Services.
This marks Ms. Verma’s second tenure with Schneider Electric, having previously served as Exports Director in the M&A Integration Office, as well as in Strategy and Sales Excellence.
Congratulating Ms Verma on her appointment, Mr. Deepak Sharma, Zone President – Greater India and MD & CEO, Schneider Electric India, said, “We are delighted to welcome Bhavna back to the Schneider Electric family. Her strength lies in rigorous problem-solving and converting strategy into execution at scale. With sharp business acumen and deep sector knowledge, she will help us chart new frontiers of growth in India and deliver greater value to the customers.”
Ms. Bhavna Verma said, “Returning to Schneider Electric feels like a true homecoming. I am honored to take on this role and contribute to the company’s continued growth in India, which remains a strategic priority for our global operations. My focus will be on translating strategy into measurable outcomes by accelerating software-led value creation, reinforcing sales excellence, and ensuring our community initiatives are both purposeful and impactful.”
Ms. Verma will be the head of Corporate Strategy, Software Strategy, Sales Excellence, and CSR in the zone, whose leadership will be required in regard to the development and implementation of the mid- to long-term roadmap. She has 17+ years in management consulting, corporate strategy, M&A, and marketing and has established herself as a leader in Cargill, Honeywell, EY, and Schneider Electric.
Her experiences include the creation and implementation of high-impact business and functional strategies, both organic and inorganic, and the creation of high performers. At Cargill, she was most recently in charge of strategy, category marketing, and product management of the Food Solutions business.
Such an appointment underlines the focus of Schneider Electric on the depth of leadership and a smooth succession in Greater India, which supports the zone in determining the next stage of the company’s development.
