Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy technology and sustainability solutions, has named Preeti Bajaj as Executive Vice President of its Home Solutions Division. This is a major leadership appointment for Schneider Electric’s smart home business.
In her new role, Bajaj will be responsible for driving growth and innovation across Schneider Electric’s global Home Solutions portfolio, which includes home energy management systems, switches and sockets, and electric vehicle charging products. Her mandate is to advance intelligent solutions that make homes more energy-efficient, secure and future-ready.
As a part of this leadership changeover, Luminous Power Technologies, which Bajaj has previously headed, will now come under the umbrella of the Home Solutions division, thereby increasing the purview of her role. She has also been inducted into the board of Starcharge, which is a joint venture and is managed by Schneider Electric. Bajaj is at present headquartered in Gurgaon, India.

Bajaj brings to the role extensive global leadership experience and a strong track record in strategic transformation. Prior to this appointment, she served as CEO and Managing Director of Luminous Power Technologies (P) Ltd., a Schneider Electric-owned company recognised for its leadership in power backup and residential solar solutions in India.
Her career also includes leadership positions such as CEO of Clipsal Solar (now Clipsal Cortex) a Schneider Electric Ventures company where she led global teams in developing advanced renewable energy hardware and software. Before these roles, she served as Vice President, Strategy and Commercial Operations Transformation at Schneider Electric.
Preeti Bajaj has a master’s degree in applied finance from Macquarie University, an MBA in finance from Swinburne University of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Delhi University. She has also pursued executive education programs from Harvard Business School and Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
In recognition of her leadership impact, Bajaj was named among Fortune India’s Most Powerful Women in India in 2025.
