Solidus Techno Power Pvt. Ltd., in partnership with Blue Sky NRG Pvt. Ltd., has successfully commissioned one of Punjab’s largest captive solar projects under the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment. The project, with a total capacity of 51 MWp (34 MW AC), is located at Ghatiyawali, Fazilka District, and was commissioned on January 13, 2026.
The solar plant, evacuated at 66 kV, is developed under a captive open access model, with 100% of the generated power supplied to Madhav KRG Ltd., a leading steel manufacturer in North India. Constructed on 125 acres, the project employs 590 Wp N-Type TopCon Photovoltaic modules with Half Cut Cell technology, FIMER inverters, and state-of-the-art Balance of System (BoS) components.
Turnkey Execution and Long-Term O&M
Solidus Techno Power executed the project on a turnkey basis, including land acquisition, PSPCL approvals, EPC design and engineering, module selection, 66 kV switchyard installation, and operation & maintenance for 25 years. With this project, Solidus expands its EPC and development portfolio to over 500 MWp, targeting 1,000 MWp by the end of 2026.
Clean Energy Impact
“This project will generate approximately 71 million units of clean energy annually and contribute to the reduction of nearly 67,000 tons of CO₂ emissions each year,” stated the company. “It represents a meaningful step toward Punjab’s sustainability goals.”
