Sungrow Showcases Smart Energy Innovations at Sri Lanka Summit

Sungrow showcased its latest smart energy solutions at the Colombo Summit, reinforcing its commitment to driving sustainable power innovation.

Sungrow, the global leading PV inverter and energy storage system provider, successfully hosted the Smart Energy Innovating Sustainable Living Summit in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The event showcased Sungrow’s latest innovative products and solutions covering various scenarios, designed to empower sustainable energy transformation across diverse application scenarios. Gathering over 200 key industry partners, technical experts, and engineers from the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), the summit provided a dynamic platform for discussing cutting-edge technologies and challenges in the photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage system (ESS) sectors.

The event featured esteemed speakers, including Mr. Prabhath from CEB, Professor Asanka Rodrigo, and renowned designer Chen Chen. Their insights offered valuable perspectives on smart energy and future trends. The panel discussion on PV safety and grid stability brought together industry experts and Sungrow representatives, who shared valuable perspectives on safety challenges and how energy storage solutions contribute to grid reliability.

Beyond insightful industry discussions, Sungrow also presented a range of its cutting-edge products and solutions. These innovations are designed to address evolving energy needs and support Sri Lanka’s transition toward a more sustainable and resilient power infrastructure.

PowerTitan2.0 Liquid-Cooled Product

Sungrow showcased its 5MWh liquid-cooled ESS PowerTitan2.0, featuring an all-in-one AC-DC block design for exceptional efficiency, safety, and reliability, already widely deployed worldwide. Featuring an integrated AC-DC design, PowerTitan2.0 combines battery units and PCS in one 20-foot cabinet. Besides, AI-driven energy dispatch ensures grid stability while optimizing renewable energy integration.

SG150CX with SR20D-M for Commercial and Industrial Scenario

Sungrow spotlighted its ultra-safe SG150CX paired with the SR20D-M rapid shutdown device for commercial and industrial scenarios. The SG150CX, designed for efficiency, has 7 MPPTs, a 98.8% conversion rate at 400V AC, and advanced safety features like intelligent arc detection and temperature sensing. With a rapid shutdown time of 20 seconds, the SR20D-M complies with UL1741/3741 standards, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and firefighting operations.

Commercial and Industrial Energy Storage PowerStack 255CS Product

The PowerStack 255CS, designed for commercial and industrial use, is equipped with 314 Ah battery cells. It delivers a 257 kWh capacity (2-hour system) or 514 kWh capacity (4-hour system) for a single container. The PowerStack 255CS meets top-tier global safety certifications, including UL9540 and NFPA855/69/68/14, ensuring the highest standards of protection. With a fully integrated EMS, PCS, and BMS, PowerStack 255CS streamlines energy storage operations while reducing installation complexity.

Upcoming Low-Voltage Residential Storage Energy MG-RL Series Inverters

The upcoming MG-RL series inverters for residential use were also presented. Boasting high efficiency, easy installation, and smart monitoring, they aim to meet the rising demand for clean home energy.
