SWREL Secures ₹1,381 Crore EPC Order from Adani Green

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL), a leading renewable EPC company, announced on Monday that it has entered into a five-year Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement and received its first purchase order from Adani Green Energy Limited, India’s largest and fastest-growing renewable energy developer.

The order pertains to a Balance of System (BOS) package for three solar power projects at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat, one of the world’s largest renewable energy developments. It includes the supply of goods and on-site services, with a total value of approximately ₹1,381 crore, excluding taxes.

Khavda Capacity Expansion

SWREL is currently executing around 6 GW of projects in the Khavda region, with nearly 5 GW expected to be completed this fiscal year. With the addition of this 1 GW project, the company continues to strengthen its leadership in Gujarat’s solar EPC sector.

Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, said, “We are delighted to announce a strategic five-year partnership framework agreement with Adani Green, along with our largest domestic EPC order this fiscal year. This partnership between India’s largest renewable developer and one of India’s biggest solar EPC players further strengthens our leadership in a rapidly expanding market. This order reflects the trust clients place in our engineering expertise, execution strength, and ability to deliver large-scale projects with fast turnaround.”

With this latest order, SWREL’s order inflows for the fiscal year have surpassed ₹6,450 crore, and the company maintains a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.
