TCL SunPower Global Joins EEBus Initiative to Advance Smart, Interoperable Energy Solutions Worldwide

TCL SunPower Global, a leading provider of innovative solar energy solutions, has announced its official membership in the EEBus Initiative, a prominent cross-industry effort dedicated to creating a communication standard for energy management devices and systems. By joining EEBus, TCL SunPower Global underscores its commitment to facilitating seamless integration between solar generation, energy storage, and flexible consumption for both households and businesses worldwide.

This initiative promotes a vendor-independent, standardized language for energy management systems, enabling products from various manufacturers to interact intelligently and securely.

“Interoperability is key to building a truly connected and sustainable energy future,” said Adam Wolf, Director of Digital at TCL SunPower Global. “Through our membership in the EEBus Initiative, we’re helping define open standards that enable customers to optimize self-consumption, benefit from dynamic tariffs, and seamlessly integrate e-mobility and other flexible loads into a smart energy ecosystem.”

The EEBus Initiative is an alliance of prominent firms within the energy, automotive, and smart energy industries to establish and deploy common use cases of energy data exchange. TCL SunPower Global will also participate in active working groups related to grid interaction, e-mobility integration, and technical implementation as a member, which will make sure its products keep up with the current global energy trends.

TCL SunPower Global has the capacity to facilitate the transition to climate-neutral decentralized energy systems through its portfolio of high-performance solar modules and next-generation energy storage solutions.

“We warmly welcome TCL SunPower Global to the EEBus Initiative. Their commitment to standardized communication reflects a clear understanding that the future of energy depends on cross-sector coordination,” said Annike Abromeit, Director of Innovation at EEBus. “By contributing their expertise and aligning with open standards, TCL SunPower supports the creation of truly interoperable energy solutions—ensuring that technologies across homes, grids, and mobility are not only compatible but work together intelligently for greater efficiency and flexibility.”

As a powerful, financially stable, and technologically advanced company, TCL SunPower Global is a player in the solar energy arena and is determined to provide high performance, reliable and affordable solar solutions across the globe. Our strategy is to combine advanced technology, vertical manufacturing, and a high emphasis on sustainability to facilitate the process of clean energy. As the leader in the innovation industry, we are the first to introduce the next generation of solar technology that will enable individuals and organizations, as well as whole areas, to develop a cleaner future of energy.

TCL SunPower Global introduces two special brands of products, namely TCL Solar, aimed at high-efficiency solar panels, and SunPower, aimed at integrated energy solutions. Collectively they serve the wide spectrum of the solar market worldwide, both at homes and rooftops as well as at commercial and large-scale utility projects.

The EEBus Initiative is a global, non-profit-making organization that is coming up with a communication standard that will allow interaction of controllable devices, energy management systems and the smart grid in a seamless manner. Its members are major players in the automotive, heating, photovoltaic (PV), battery and white goods markets and the smart grid, smart metering and energy management market. Their collaboration is to make the energy transition faster.
