ThunderPlus Commissions Public EV Charging Station at Indian Oil Fuel Station in Patancheru

A fast-growing electric vehicle charging infrastructure provider, ThunderPlus has opened a new public EV charging station at an Indian Oil fuel station in Patancheru. This marks a strategic expansion of EV charging station access in the area. This development supports cleaner transportation, strengthens public charging infrastructure, and makes it easier for drivers in and around the city to use EVs.

Expanding Reliable EV Charging Access

The newly operational charging point has a mix of DC and AC chargers. It includes 60 kW DC, 7.4 kW AC, and 3.3 kW AC options. These facilities serve a wide range of electric vehicles, from scooters and bikes to cars. They provide reliable and faster charging than standard outlets.

By adding EV charging to an existing fuel station, ThunderPlus is helping connect traditional fuel sources with modern EV demands. Having chargers at a popular location with heavy daily vehicle traffic makes it easier for EV users to get quick top-ups while traveling or on their daily commute.

Strategic Importance and Benefits

  • Public EV charging now available at an Indian Oil fuel station in Patancheru
  • Offers a mix of DC and AC charging options for different EV types
  • Enhances fast and reliable charging access in Telangana
  • Helps reduce range anxiety for local EV drivers
  • Integrates EV infrastructure with traditional fuel stations
  • Supports broader electric mobility growth in the region

ThunderPlus’ initiative supports its broader mission to create a reliable and scalable EV charging network in India. It targets both urban users and long-distance travelers. The company plans to install charging stations at key locations like fuel stations. This will make owning an EV more convenient and less stressful, especially for those without home charging options.

This latest commissioning at Patancheru marks another step in ThunderPlus’ deployment strategy. It combines smart placement, different charging technologies, and public accessibility. This approach aims to help speed up the adoption of electric vehicles across the country.
