Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd Appoints Industry Titan Praveen Srivastava as CMO

The giant company within the global energy equipment sector, called Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd. (TARIL), made the recent announcement about the appointment of new personnel to occupy the powerful position of Chief Marketing Officer, one Praveen Srivastava.

The strategic appointment is also a great time for a high-growth period in the company, where it aims to take advantage of the increase in renewable energy trough the world. Mr. Srivastava is carrying a tremendous amount of knowledge that is supplemented by over 25 years of leadership in power transmission, green energy, infrastructure development, etc.

A Career Defined by Engineering Excellence

A mechanical engineering graduate from BIET Jhansi, Mr. Srivastava is also a heavyweight in the field of management with an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. His blend of technical expertise with shrewd and seasoned marketing acumen has propelled him into the most prestigious position among those in the Power Industry.

Throughout his career, he has been a driving force at some of the world’s most iconic engineering firms:

  • Hitachi Energy & ABB: Leading massive portfolios and high-voltage initiatives.
  • Flowserve Sanmar & Kirloskar Brothers Limited: Building robust partnerships and scaling industrial operations.

The Vision for TARIL’s Next Chapter

In his new role at TARIL, Srivastava is tasked with much more than just marketing; he is expected to be a key architect of the company’s future growth. His mission includes:

  • Elevating Strategy: Enhancing the company’s marketing and business development structures in order to compete globally.
  • Expanding Footprint: Expanding TARIL’s footprint in emerging countries and the private developer segment.
  • Driving Innovation: Taking advantage of the understanding he gained in the field of Renewable Energy and also EPC for making TARIL’s products more compatible to modern grids.

“Widely regarded for his strategic insight and ability to drive market-focused growth initiatives,” Srivastava is expected to play a “pivotal role” in supporting the organization’s next phase of expansion.
