Vayona Energy has started doing business in India by signing its first contract with Oyster Renewable Energy Pvt. Ltd. to provide wind turbines for a 64.8 MW project in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh. This deal is a big step forward for Vayona Energy’s growth in India since it bought the company from Siemens Gamesa.
Project Scope and Technology
Vayona Energy will deliver 18 SG 3.6-145 wind turbines, totaling 64.8 MW of installed capacity. The contract also includes a long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement, supporting Oyster Renewable’s growth in southern India.

Manufacturing and Delivery
Key turbine components will be manufactured and assembled at Vayona Energy’s Mamandur facility near Chennai. Supply is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
Since launching its 3X platform in India, Vayona Energy has received orders exceeding 3.6 GW, with over 2 GW already installed by December 2025, showing strong market confidence in the company’s technology and execution.
