Vibgyor Energy Signs 22.5 MWp Solar-Plus-Storage PPA with Varun Beverages Limited

Vibgyor Energy has announced a significant partnership with Varun Beverages Limited through a 22.5 MWp solar-plus-storage Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The agreement marks a major step toward clean energy adoption within the beverage manufacturing sector.

Under the PPA, Vibgyor Energy will supply renewable power to five of Varun Beverages’ facilities located in Kota, Jaipur, Alwar, Jodhpur, and Bhiwadi. The integration of battery storage with solar power aims to enhance energy reliability while reducing dependence on the conventional grid.

This collaboration supports Varun Beverages’ strategic goal of sourcing 30% of its energy from renewable sources by 2030. Vibgyor Energy reaffirmed its commitment to enabling industrial decarbonization through innovative solar solutions that advance sustainability and accelerate the clean energy transition.

Vibgyor Energy has been formed with an aim to serve Industrial, Commercial, Institutional, and Logistic Power consumers to help them mitigate escalating grid power costs through our various solar services. Being a complete solar solution provider, we provide end-to-end solutions from Site Survey, Pre-feasibility study, Design, Engineering, Construction along with Operation & Maintenance for the life of the system, along with various options of financing.

By offering all services in-house, Vibgyor Energy ensures customers receive efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable long-term solutions. Additionally, investing in a rooftop, carport, or ground-mounted solar system can provide a significant return on investment, with a payback period of approximately 2 to 5 years—depending on the system type, applicable tax benefits, and grid tariffs. Each solar installation comes with a 25-year generation warranty, helping reduce long-term dependency on grid power.

Currently, Vibgyor Energy serves premium clients across diverse sectors, including healthcare and hospitals, food and beverages/FMCG, automotive, industrial chemicals, commercial centres, and educational institutions.
