Vikram Solar Unveils 5 GW Vallam Facility, Boosting India's Solar Manufacturing Capacity

Vikram Solar, one of India’s leading solar PV module manufacturers, unveiled its latest innovation, Hypersol Pro, at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025. The advanced N-type solar module has been meticulously engineered to deliver exceptional efficiency, reliability, and longevity for next-generation solar installations.

Building on the success of the acclaimed Hypersol series, the new Hypersol Pro introduces breakthrough performance with zero reverse power loss, enabling unidirectional current flow that minimizes energy waste and maximizes total power generation even under voltage mismatch conditions. The module is ideally suited for rooftops, commercial and industrial installations with battery systems, as well as utility-scale projects with closely spaced strings.

Hypersol Pro is available in two variants—G12R and M10R—offering efficiencies up to 23.69% and 23.61%, with power outputs of 640 Wp and 610 Wp, respectively. Unlike conventional modules, its advanced architecture ensures unidirectional current flow, effectively eliminating reverse current and energy loss to maximize total energy yield.

The module integrates seamlessly across rooftop, ground-mount, floating, or hybrid configurations, ensuring consistent protection and stable output under varying system conditions. Its innovative design sets a new standard for hotspot-resistant performance, preventing reverse current between parallel module strings, protecting cells, and extending module lifespan for sustained high-efficiency operation.

Designed to optimize every watt generated, Hypersol Pro minimizes internal energy losses for consistent power output, delivering higher energy yield and faster return on investment. The module is smart, energy-ready, and fully compatible with hybrid, bi-directional, and smart-grid-connected configurations, offering universal adaptability across multiple solar applications.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director, Vikram Solar, said, “With Hypersol Pro, we’ve engineered a module that embodies the next chapter of solar innovation, where design intelligence meets performance excellence. By integrating smart energy readiness and universal compatibility, Hypersol Pro reflects our vision of future-ready solar technology that empowers developers, industries, and communities alike. Innovations like Hypersol Pro are set to define the quality, dependability, and global competitiveness of Indian solar manufacturing.”

The launch of Hypersol Pro marks a major leap in Vikram Solar’s pursuit of technological excellence, reinforcing its leadership in delivering high-efficiency, reliable, and future-ready solar solutions that contribute to India’s renewable energy ambitions and global sustainability goals.
