Xavolt Energy Partners with Tamil Nadu Government to Establish Advanced Battery Manufacturing Plant

Xavolt Energy Pvt Ltd has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu at the TN RISING event in Coimbatore. This milestone marks a significant step in Xavolt’s commitment to establishing a state-of-the-art battery manufacturing plant focused on storage applications, leveraging the company’s innovative homegrown sodium-sulfur technology.

Xavolt’s strategic decision to build the facility in Tamil Nadu is driven by the state’s strong talent pool, industrial ecosystem, and government support. The company is poised to play a key role in advancing sustainable energy solutions while creating a robust local manufacturing base for energy storage systems.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. TRB Rajaa, the Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion & Commerce, Government of Tamil Nadu, who expressed his strong support for Xavolt’s initiative. Dr. Rajaa’s guidance and recognition of Xavolt’s potential played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s decision to choose Tamil Nadu as its manufacturing location.

Xavolt also extended its appreciation to Guidance Tamil Nadu and key personnel, including Renold Regan G, Prabakaran Andi Saravanan, and Varadharaj Sugumaran, whose continued support was instrumental in making this partnership a reality.

Tamil Nadu’s rapidly growing economy, marked by double-digit growth, provides an ideal environment for Xavolt’s expansion and contribution to the state’s sustainable energy goals. The company also acknowledged the vision and leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin, whose foresight has helped position Tamil Nadu as a leader in industrial innovation and sustainable energy.

“We are excited to collaborate with the Government of Tamil Nadu and work alongside our partners to make Tamil Nadu a hub for advanced energy storage and next-generation battery technologies,” said Dr. Saravanakumar Murugan Founder and CTO at Xavolt Energy Pvt. Ltd. “Our goal is to contribute to India’s energy transition and deliver sustainable energy solutions to every corner of the country.”

With this significant development, Xavolt is set to play an important role in the growing energy storage industry, bringing cutting-edge technology and sustainable energy solutions to the forefront of India’s green energy future.
