Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has also implemented a 125 MW solar power station at Khavda, Gujarat, which reinforces the company in the Indian renewable energy market. Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of AGEL, developed the project.

After obtaining the necessary clearances, the company affirmed that the plant had been operationalized at the time the company had received the required clearances at 1:40 p.m. on September 1, 2025. This addition brings the total operational renewable generation capacity of AGEL to 15,990.5 MW, another important milestone in its growth curve.

Khavda in Gujarat has become one of the largest renewable energy centers in the country and has the potential to support solar and wind projects on a large scale. The recent commissioning of AGEL is coherent with its overall strategy of developing clean energy generation and facilitating the shift of India to clean power.
