Advait Energy Transitions has secured a turnkey contract valued at nearly ₹100 crore from Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL) under the Kishachatgn Suryodaya Yojana (KSY) scheme, strengthening its presence in India’s power distribution infrastructure segment. The order represents a significant addition to the company’s order book and underscores its capabilities in executing large-scale utility projects.
As part of the contract, Advait Energy will be responsible for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 kV 55 sq mm AAAC Medium Voltage Covered Conductors (MVCC), along with associated accessories, across DGVCL’s jurisdiction area in Gujarat. The project is designed to enhance the reliability and efficiency of power distribution networks while supporting rural and agricultural electrification initiatives in the state.
Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited, a domestic electricity distribution utility, awarded the contract with a defined execution timeline of 18 months. According to Advait Energy’s regulatory filing submitted to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the total order value stands at ₹99.99 crore, inclusive of applicable taxes.
The MVCC-based infrastructure development forms a critical component of modern electrical distribution systems, particularly in areas where network reliability, safety, and reduced outages are key priorities. The project falls under the broader framework of the Kishan Suryodaya Yojana, a government-backed initiative aimed at strengthening power supply infrastructure for agricultural consumers and rural regions.
Advait Energy confirmed that the contract does not involve any related-party transactions. The company further disclosed that neither the promoter nor the promoter group holds any interest in the awarding entity. In its filing, Advait Energy stated that the order was awarded on an arm’s length basis and is fully compliant with the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR).
The contract win reflects Advait Energy’s growing footprint in power infrastructure development and its technical expertise in delivering MVCC-based distribution solutions. The association with DGVCL, a key power distribution company in Gujarat, further strengthens the company’s engagement in state-level infrastructure development initiatives under government programs.
The ₹99.99 crore order is expected to contribute meaningfully to Advait Energy’s revenue pipeline over the execution period, aligning with the company’s focus on power distribution upgrades and modernization projects across India.
