Ampace Showcases PU200 and Next-Gen Semi-Solid-State Batteries at Data Centre World Asia 2025

Ampace, a global leader in advanced energy storage solutions, made a notable impression at Data Centre World Asia 2025, held on October 8–9 at Marina Bay Sands, by showcasing its robust PU200 battery series for data center backup, alongside offering a strategic preview of its breakthrough semi-solid-state battery technology. The company’s participation emphasized its leading role in powering resilient digital infrastructure.

The incident gave Ampace a crucial platform to respond to essential power issues of the contemporary data centers, namely, the increasing needs of improved safety and energy density as well as decreased overall cost of ownership (TCO).

Notable was the PU200 Battery Series, which is a high-end lithium-based solution that is designed to be used in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. Designed with mission-critical availability, it provides the best safety, a 15-year float service life, and high power density to enable data center operators to use space as efficiently as possible and reduce the operating cost.

Besides this mature solution

Ampace also presented its future roadmap with semi-solid-state battery technology, a next-generation technology that would provide much better intrinsic safety and energy density. This invention highlights how Ampace has been determined to be at the frontier of pushing the energy storage frontier as a foundation towards more efficient, safer, and future-conscious power systems.

The Ampace booth attracted considerable attention from the data center professionals, engineers and industry stakeholders, resulting in relevant discussions about the revolution of the energy storage environment.

“The digital economy demands power solutions that are not only reliable today but are also pioneering for the challenges of tomorrow,” said a senior representative from Ampace at the event.

“Our presence here, with both the commercially ready PU200 and our developmental semi-solid-state technology, demonstrates our dual focus: delivering proven performance for current needs while investing in the foundational technologies for a more resilient and sustainable digital future.”

Ampace’s presentation at the event affirmed its commitment to innovation and leadership in the evolving data center energy ecosystem.
