Ampere, Greaves electric mobility brand of two-wheeler, has unveiled Magnus Grand, a sophisticated electric scooter that is customized to meet urban family requirements. The Magnus Grand (priced at 89,999 ex-showroom) is powered by a Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery and increased safety marks and includes a 5-year or 75,000km warranty.
The new model is based on the Magnus Neo legacy and it has a powerful dual-frame chassis that would be comfortable on the Indian roads. It comes in 2 sleek dual-tone color matches of matcha green and ocean blue, which has a complement of gold-finish badging to make it look premium.
“The Magnus Grand represents a significant leap forward for Greaves by aiming to redefine urban mobility by combining technology with user-centric design; it highlights Ampere’s focus on real-world performance, safety, and design,” said Vikas Singh, Managing Director of Greaves Electric Mobility. “With the Magnus Grand, we are empowering riders to raise their expectations, offering enhanced comfort, better safety, and convenience that transforms everyday journeys into truly confident and enjoyable experiences, backed by the reliability of our after-sales promise, Ampere Care.”
The Magnus Grand has a number of additions, such as a new digital display that is easier to read during the rides and some ergonomic additions like a redesigned grab rail to enhance the safety of passengers. LFP battery technology is better than traditional battery systems because it is used to achieve better lifespan and safety.
The scooter has a high load-carrying capacity, has a high seating capacity, and has advanced braking systems that ensure the product can be used at the family level and for day-to-day commuting requirements. The hallmarks of signature styling are a two-color palette and unique gold badging.
